Identifying a computer problem

Many times you sit in front of computer and face common problems which are very difficult to fix and you are unable to identify it. For this you have to go through the details of your computer and follow the error so that you can identify it as soon as possible. For determining the actual problem, you have to understand the specifications of your computer thoroughly so that you can fix it. So here you are given few techniques so that you can identify those problems with ease and fix it as soon as possible:
1. Verify the news sent by POST: POST means Power on Self Test. This is the initial issues that generates on your computer whenever you start your system. This happens before your OS gets loaded. The POST displays list of problems that is generated by the hardware that makes the computer incapable to boot. It also helps in displaying problems that are related to hardware in many ways that makes computer unable to operate properly and displays various issues.

2. Check the loading time of Operating System: You must check the exact time in which your operating system gets loaded in the computer. The longer it takes the more problems it is filled with. If it takes much more than the usual time that is required, it means that it has more problems and it is filled with errors and hardware failures which has entered the hard drive. You must also check the problem of graphics after the OS gets loaded.

3. Go through an audio analysis: It is a very effective way of finding out whether you computer is working or not. You can play anything you like to check the proper working of the hardware. If the audio is disturbed and shows slow or disturbed behaviour, it is a clear indication that your computer hardware has got a problem, else its fine. It affects your hard drive inside out. If you want to repair it, you can switch to DMA that lets the computer read files fast and properly. You must also keep a check on newly installed hardware as many operating systems are not compatible with new drives. It can also conflict with the process of other hardware system. To ensure and verify the process, you can also keep a check on Control panel and click on the icon and hardware tab. This can arrange the properties of hardware and this way you can check the newly installed hardware properly.

4. Process a complete virus scan of the system: if you do not scan the computer properly, you can have many performances related problems. If the virus runs on the computer, it can expose many other problems. You can also make use of many antivirus scanner systems to check any type of malware that has entered in your system. You can check the problems through this method. After diagnosing the problems with the malware check, restart your computer so that you can enter the safe mode.
